" The Observers "

"The Observers" is a synthetic hologram made from 768 images rendered in a 3D computer graphics software and transferred to high-definition emulsion. This hologram is a demonstration of "optical interactivity". As you move sideways, eyes follow you. The eyes are taken from three self-portraits by artists of the past: Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), Artemisia Gentileschi (1593-1656) and Gustave Courbet (1819-1877). Observers observe observers who observe them.
